We started helping our neighbors
before we started a company.
We've been in Avenir since the early days, back when there were a lot fewer of us. Watching each other's homes. Checking on pets. Showing up when something broke and nobody else was around. That's just what neighbors did here. Avenir Home, Pet & Property is the formal version of something we were already doing. We didn't start this to build a business first and find customers second. We started it because the need was already real, and we were already the people our neighbors called.
How we operate
We only serve Avenir.
That's a choice, not a limitation. It means we can actually know your home, not just visit it.
We keep our capacity small on purpose.
We'd rather do right by fewer homes than stretch thin across more. If we don't have room, we'll tell you.
We document everything.
Access protocols, visit reports, photos. Trust is built on actually knowing what happened, not just being told it did.
We're already your neighbors.
Whatever happens — a storm, a leak, a lost dog — we're not driving in from somewhere else to help.
Who you'll actually talk to

Sherry Varone
Founder — Windgate resident
Sherry has a system for the system. If it's not labeled, color-coded, or backed up in three places, it doesn't exist yet. Founds the company, then alphabetizes the founding documents.

Tina Brack
Founder — Watermark resident
Tina has never missed a beat in her life. Every box gets checked. Every box gets checked twice. If chaos enters the building, Tina has already left a note about it on the counter.

David Gold
Operations & Vendor Coordination — Windgate resident
Mechanical engineer by training, professional fixer of things nobody else noticed were broken. Approaches a loose cabinet hinge with the same intensity most people reserve for launching a rocket.
